Throughout July and August, a research team from the University of Central Lancashire’s Media Innovation Studio, in partnership with Wigan Libraries D:Circus project, will be exhibiting some newly created musical experiences which blend together elements of play and Japanese culture. The exhibitions will present a range of musical activities, including a digitized Shogi Board, which combines the traditional Japanese game of Shogi with a recently collected archive of Japanese musical instruments.
The exhibition is open to visit Thursdays 10-4pm – Thu 6th, Thu 13th and Thu 20th Sept.
