Sharing Practice – Creating Place II exhibition

Join us for a relaxed evening with the artists from the Creating Place II exhibition at The Turnpike Gallery. Each artist will be sharing how they have made their work in the exhibition, as well as general insights into how they work with local communities and collections to find inspiration and add social value to their practice.

With talks from Nicolette Lafonseca, Joe Whitmore, Anna FC Smith, Helen Mather, and Julie McKiernan and an opportunity to visit the exhibition and network with other participants.

Refreshments will be provided.

Who is it for?

This event is for artists and audiences wanting to learn more about the Creating Place II exhibition as well as those interested in learning about how artists are currently working within the borough. It is an opportunity for participants to network with each other and discuss social practice through an informal Q&A with the exhibiting artists.
