Kat is an artist living and working in Wigan, UK.
I work in a variety of different ways; sculpture, installation, drawing, and predominantly textiles. My practice is process driven and centers around colour, shape, form and materials. I often work with vivid colours; investigating how these respond to their surroundings. I use materials as a drawing tool and often create work both spontaneously and subconsciously through play.
Since graduating in 2007 I have worked in the community arts sector delivering art workshops to schools, colleges, festivals throughout the North West.
